Welcome to A Online College !

When I first started college way back in 1991 at the Rochester Institute of Technology I had absolutely no clue that a few years down the road there would be the possibility to get an online college degree!

Times have definitely changed and I believe for the better.  The choices available to students now are simply mind boggling.  Through better technology and the flexibility and innovation of online colleges, students can now get a world class education right from home.

But which online college will you choose? Is it the right choice for you? How will you know? And where do you start?

I hope in the months and years ahead to be able to help answer at least some of those questions as I chronicle the online college landscape.

If I had to do it all over again I definitely think I would have attended an online college instead of going to Rochester RIT.  I would have saved a lot of time and money for sure and I think I would have been better able to focus and limit my education to exactly what I needed instead of a big mix of all of the above.

Certainly attending an online college is not for everyone, but hopefully after visiting A Online College dot com you will at least have a somewhat better perspective on whether it is right for you or not.

The decision about getting a higher education is one of the most important ones in our lives.  It involves the unknown, a good chunk of money and a big sacrifice in time.  But I believe it is well worth it and never forget that an education whether online or off is something no one can ever take away from you. It shapes who you are and what you can do for the rest of your life.
